Today three teams went out from Westgate Baptist Church in Tigard Oregon. I went door to door and had the opportunity to share the Gospel with several persons. No one received Christ. I witnessed to a man here from South Africa who was a Muslim. I also talked with another older man, Donald. He listened but could not be saved. I thank God for the opportunity to go, and I thank God for the Pastor, Pastor Jaquith, but I am afraid I need more pray and the power of the Holy Spirit in my life. If you are witnessing and not seeing any fruit, do not be discouraged. It may be that there are areas of our life we need to shine the light of the Scriptures on. Just keep going! |

It has been some time since I have updated my blog. I apologize. Today is Easter, and I was privileged to lead two persons to the Lord. One named, Roberto, and the other named Joseph. Roberto is from Central America, and Joseph is from Africa. It took place in church. Roberto was visiting, and Joseph was there for Easter. It is surprising that so few at the church were excited about the conversions. The way it is going we should be able to see more decisions at the local church. So few go out into the world to preach the Gospel but instead invite lost people to church. Let's go soul winning! |

This part of the site has been down for awhile but is now back up. The web site is almost finished and new content will be added on a weekly basis. I just arrived back from Arizona where my family attended Faithful Word Baptist Church. They are doing a great work in the Pheonix area. Soul winning goes on everyday, and the Pastor is on fire for God. I had the opportunity to go soul winning with Brother Stuckey, and we had two people accept Christ as their Savior that day. We are looking for a house in the Mesa area of Arizona so we can travel there in the winter months. My wife longs to see the grandchildren which are in Mesa. I look forward to what the Lord brings in this area of our lives. I had an opportunity to share the Gospel with an older gentleman at a McDonalds on the way back. I also spoke with Kim, a receptionist at one of the motels I stopped at. She said she was trusting in Jesus to get to heaven, and was doing good things to make sure. I explained to her that it was not her works, but her faith in Jesus Christ that would save her. When I showed her Ephesians 2: 8, 9, she realized the conflict between the Scriptures, and her belief of faith mixed with works. I explained the Gospel and left her two books of the Bible for her to go over what we had covered. She did not accept Christ alone at that time. By the way, she attends a Baptist Church in her small town. Can you imagine that no one in her church cares enough to show her the truth, or worse yet, they believe that it is works and faith! Let's go soul winning. Please see Pastor Anderson's video about the presentation of the Gospel. Just go to the Main Menu and click Videos. If you think that this is not importent, just start asking people what they believe. Start checking other churches and what they beleive. You will be amazed. |
