Church
Checker
- Does it agree with the Bible?
- Does it align with the World and it's crowd?
- Do false religions and cults agree with the teaching?
How To Check Your Church.
The first and most important thing to do is get a copy of the Statement of Faith, and any other document that explains what you should do or believe as a member of that church. Remember, when you join the church you are giving your word that you will follow the teachings of the church as it is contained in those documents.
The second thing you need to do is "Read It". The best way to do this is to get an Authorized Bible (KJV), sit down and compare the churches Scripture references to the ones in your Bible. Pray for the Spirit of God to show you the truth and errors as you find them. I admit that it may take some time to go through each and every Scripture but it will be worth it. Remember I Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
Warning
If you find that the teachings of your church has errors follow these helpful tips in trying to right the situation.
Contact us and we will check it for you, and if you are right (Agrees with the Bible) we will provide you material (Free of charge, we do not sell or charge or take any offerings at any time for any reason.) that will help you defend your position, and show the church biblically why you are right. Bring this material to the attention of the Pastor (Be kind). Give him a chance to review it and offer his opinion. Remember he is the Pastor, and God wants us to honor and respect our leaders. But where leaders are wrong they are duty bound to right the wrong.
If the Pastor says that he believes his reading of the Scriptures is correct, you may have to leave it at that. But, you do not have to agree to the Statement of Faith. Only in matters of the fundaments of the faith do you have to agree.
Unfortunately in most cases if you try to show it to the leaders or Pastor they will not agree, and you may run the risk of being cast into the outer circle or ignored. You will never be considered for a teaching position or Sunday School class.
